Playful Learning: Enhancing Social and Collaborative Skills among Elementary Students at Sidomulyo 1 Tuban

This study explored the impact of playful learning activities, specifically cooperative games and group problem-solving tasks, on the development of social and collaborative skills among elementary school students at Sidomulyo 1 Tuban. The aim of the study was to examine how these playful learning strategies enhance communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, which were crucial for children’s social and academic success. The methodology employed in this study focused on using cooperative games and group problem-solving tasks. The findings indicated that playful learning significantly improved the students’ ability to work together, resolve conflicts, and engage in meaningful communication with peers. Furthermore, the activities contributed to an increase in students' motivation, self-confidence, and emotional well-being. The study concluded that integrating cooperative games and group problem-solving tasks into the curriculum can foster essential life skills and create a more dynamic, inclusive learning environment. Recommendations for further research include exploring the long-term effects of playful learning on academic achievement and the development of social relationships.
